Winter is upon us here at Gettysburg Battlefield Resorts in South Central Pennsylvania!
Hello Campers,
Summer has come and gone, and fall is in the air! We have the perfect evening weather for a warm campfire. I love this time of the year.
The bridge over the Mohican River is now closed. Detour signs are posted. We certainly know this is an inconvenience because it is for us as well. We are stocking up, so we minimize the number of trips we make into Loudonville. Hey everyone, we say stock up and come camping!
I want to thank everyone that participated in our member build project. It was a lot of work, and we could not have done it without each one of you. I feel it will be enjoyed by many. We still have some work to do to finish it up, but we do have a water feature. I have always said the Garden House is a work in progress and will always be.
With Halloween right around the corner we are working on the details. We need volunteers again this year. So many of you stepped up and made last year a huge success and we need your help again this year. There are sign up sheets in the store. Costume judges, Party set up, servers during the party.
This is the time of the year that we have lost our workcampers. They have moved on to their winter destinations. Bill is staying with us through Halloween, and we appreciate it. With loosing so many staff we have cut back hours in the store, Honey wagons Monday to Friday only. Propane fill Monday to Saturday 9-5.
Enjoy fall camping!

As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.
I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.

Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
Even though the camping season has come and gone we are still busy here at the resort. Learn more about the resort in the February Newsletter!
