How can Labor Day already be here!? That is where we have found ourselves with this newsletter! Let’s jump into what we have done in the past month.

Our Dog Park is officially open and is awesome! Our furry canine friends and their owners are enjoying it immensely. It is divided with one side being for smaller breeds and the other side for the bigger ones. This was our Member Build project for this year, and we couldn’t be prouder of our staff and members who helped make this park wonderful for our furry members.

Bob and Connie left no stone unturned with August’s activities. We had our annual Murder Mystery weekend (which went off with not a bang but another kind of weapon). Captain Jack Sparrow made an appearance at our Pirates and Princess’s weekend celebration among other unruly pirates. Carnival Fundraiser weekend was enjoyed by all who braved the water fights, dunk tank, and more water antics. Lastly, the last weekend of the month was colorful and fun, as it was our Paint War Weekend.

They have lots planned for September with of course Labor Day Weekend festivities being the first weekend. In addition to all the activities they have planned, the ever-popular Sand Band will be playing on Saturday Night. We will be celebrating our First Responders 9/8-9/10. Trivia Weekend is the following weekend, 9/15-9/17. Rounding out the month will be Native American Weekend 9/22-9/24 and then Octoberfest and Racing games beginning 9/29.

Haunted Forest is quickly approaching. Do yourself and the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society a favor and make it out for one of the last 3 Saturday nights in October.  A lot of fun, laughter, and piercing screams await you. Help us beat last year’s record-breaking donation to this worthy cause.

Be sure to grab a copy of our Guidelines at check-in. Please remember the speed limit is 5mph in the resort, all pets must be leashed and cleaned up after, and absolutely no aggressive animals are allowed on the property.

Let’s make this camping season the best we ever had, full of fun, laughter, and making new friends. We are proud to play a part in your family’s cherished memories!
