Sycamore Lodge Resort
November Newsletter, 2022

Hello Campers,

November is finally here, and cooler weather has hit us quickly. Burrrrrrr…… Last month went great with the Haunted Forest Volunteers and all the great events to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We are tallying up the total amount and will announce it once we receive it. There were 13 great houses of volunteers that scared, screamed, and made guests jump with fright. Not to mention the concession stand that did an amazing job of cooking. Thank you, and thank you to all volunteers for the event and making it run smoothly on those chilly Saturday nights. Y’all are the best!! Not to mention the members that came out to support the event and went through it all.

Now that October has zoomed by with racing fun and a sliced golf ball here or there. November is HERE!!!! Y’all, let’s start this month off right and call it a Thankful Thanksgiving. What is that you ask? Each week we have a weekend to thank each other. We start off with cleaning up the weekend at the Haunted Forest and a huge THANK YOU to the volunteers for making it happen. Then we say thank you to all our veterans. Thank y’all for your service and everything you have done to keep us safe. Don’t forget Thanksgiving at Sycamore Lodge. Book now and get your spot for those yummy turkeys that we cook for everyone. Members, remember to bring a dish as we celebrate this thankful fest!

Let’s bobber-ate the lodge and deck the halls for Christmas. Bring that holiday spirit and those smiling gorgeous faces to the lodge. We will be pouring hot cocoa and putting out cookies to eat.

The General Store hours will be changing this month to the off season.
Mondays- Closed
Tuesday – Saturday 9am-5pm
Sunday 9am – 3pm

As always if you arrive after the store has closed grab your welcome packet from the right side of the General Store Door. If at any time you need assistance after hours, please contact the on-duty host.

Notes from management:
Just friendly reminders that the weather will be changing soon to freezing temperatures. Keep an eye out for frost advisories and freeze warnings for your RV water pipes.

Dogs need to be always on a leash while in the campground.
We understand things happen in life and if you must cancel a reservation, please call the Store or member services as soon as possible. That way other members can enjoy Sycamore Lodge.
