April showers bringing the May flowers!
Welcome to May at the lodge campers!!!
Wowza, do you see all the flowers blooming at and around the lodge? 2022 is so beautiful this year with the hard work from staff planting over 2000 plants and flowers from last Fall. Keep your eye out in the areas by the greeting station, garden, and bistro areas.
Let’s jump in and see what happened last month! April was a great start with all the bands rocking and rolling in. It was a chilly month, but lots came out to two stepping on the dance floor. Oh, did I mention the food trucks are back? That’s right food trucks and that word is plural as we are looking for more trucks this year for our Saturdays. Don’t forget the Dawg Wagon will still be here and making great food while you sit back and watch the band. We began with final fours, Master’s golf outing and through Easter bunny hopping around. With all these fun activities it has pushed us through the month and through the Spring Break, Pizza party and Western Weekends. Now onto MAY!!!!!!
May is here and let’s celebrate mom for Mother’s Day. Bring her up to the lodge and have a great breakfast then paint and make a craft. Then flight over to a local airstrip and learn all about planes.
What will the science weekend behold??? Mysteries and experiments plus more. At the end of May we remember all our service members for Memorial Day.
Whew May is happening campers.
Notes from the managers:
As we know spring is here and everyone is excited to go camping. (That means more children are out and about). Please follow guidelines when driving in/around the resort and keeping it under 5 mph. All personal golf carts must be registered at the general store with a visible daily band or a yearly sticker. A reminder we all love our pups, but it is a TRA guideline to keep your pets on a leash and pick up after them. The pool is getting cleaned up and painted for this summer’s season. It will open as soon as the weather warms to designated temperatures.

I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.
I just want to say thank you all for a great season! I am very excited to take on this new role as your Resort Manager.

As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.
