Summer is in full swing here at Bass Lake Resort, and we are excited for the 2023 camping season!
Hello from Sycamore Lodge Resort in Jackson Springs, NC!
Can you believe July is already here?! Our camping season is in full swing and we are hopping here for sure.
Our member build project, Dog Park, is set to happen on July 8th. This will be enjoyed by everyone, furry and non-furry alike. We are going from one big closed in area, to two. One for bigger dogs and one for smaller ones. Each one will be fully fenced in, allowing your dog to be off the leash, while keeping them safe inside. If you would like to help, please see a staff member.
The Haunted Forest check presentation was on June 17th. We are proud to announce that we presented the Lymphoma Society a check for over $32,000! We beat last year’s record-breaking total and are committed to doing that again this year. That wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated members who work very hard beginning in September getting it ready.
Bob and Connie have lots planned for the month of July. July 4th celebration will be the weekend of June 30th. Lots planned such as: Annual Flag retirement ceremony, softball, parade and corn hole tournament. 7th-9th is our Pool Party Weekend. 14th-16th is our popular Extreme Water Wars Weekend. Christmas in July is 21st-23rd. Santa will be here while on vacation and is anxious to see how many campers decorate their sites for the halfway to Christmas celebration. Chocolate Lover’s Weekend 28th-30th rounds out our busy July here at Sycamore Lodge. If you love Chocolate, you will want to come out for this weekend! We will be having a pie eating contest, candy bingo, crafts and games and our annual chocolate slip-n-slide!
Be sure to grab a copy of our Guidelines at check in. Please remember the speed limit is 5mph in the resort, all pets must be leashed and cleaned up after and absolutely no aggressive animals are allowed on property.
