Winter is upon us here at Gettysburg Battlefield Resorts in South Central Pennsylvania!
Hey y’all,
November is here and this is a month we can all be thankful for! As we enter this season of chilly weather maybe some snow… even though we all hope it holds off until December. Let’s be honest, we just want hang onto those beautiful autumn leaves as long as we can. Our weekends are quiet here in November, but we have some activities you can enjoy while you’re here. There are two biggies to note for November, and the first one is November 19th. Thanks to Elaine Boots and some amazing members, we will be having our first member led Thanksgiving Feast! So, plan to bring a covered dish or turkey to share with your fellow members, so this tradition continues here at the ranch. You can PM Elaine on Facebook for any questions you may have, and Elaine will be happy to get back with you. We are thankful for Elaine’s love for camping at Rocky Fork Ranch, and her generous heart to organize this event!
Next on November 26th, we will be decking the halls together! Come join us and have a cookie while you help get us all in the holiday spirit. We will decorate the club house and enjoy some Christmas music together.
Of course, all the details will be on the CampersApp if you do not have this app download today and stay informed of happenings at all our resorts.
We have another exciting addition to the area. On November 11th Cambridge will have an outdoor ice-skating rink. You’ll find this new rink at the end of Wheeling Ave down by the old train station. What a fantastic addition to many other amazing activities in our Charles Dicken’s Victorian town during the holidays. If you have never experienced Cambridge this time of year, make plans to enjoy all that this quaint little town has to offer.

As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.
I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.
Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
