Winter is upon us here at Gettysburg Battlefield Resorts in South Central Pennsylvania!
Here at the ranch, we are grateful for this month as we gear up to celebrate our Independence during fourth of July weekend! That is just the beginning of all we have planned. Simeon has covered the weekend themes below so book your stay and join us as often as you can. Download the CampersApp to make sure you have details of what is happening while you are here! Above all have fun, make some lasting memories, and enjoy your time immersed in the beautiful setting of Rocky Fork Ranch.
We are also excited to let you know we have our pontoon boats ready for your enjoyment. You can inquire for pricing and availability with our front desk. I would like to kindly remind everyone of some guidelines to ensure everyone has the best experience. Once your RV is onsite, it cannot be left unattended for 24 hours. Be considerate of this rule and avoid being fined for leaving your camper unattended. You must be 21 years old to drive a rental cart breaking this rule will result in loss of the cart no exceptions. The speed limit is 9 1/2 miles per hour so relax, and enjoy your time on Rocky Fork Ranch.
Our recreation department also will be posting signup sheets for any activity with limited capacity. This will ensure everyone who is interested can come to the recreation window located in the Clubhouse and sign up. As always, I will leave you with a few pictures to remind you of the memories being made by those who come and enjoy all we have to offer.
Simeon and his staff have some great things planned every weekend. Here are the highlights!
We are really looking forward to July here at the Ranch! We have some great activities planned! The first weekend we have Independence Day Weekend where we will celebrate our freedom with live music, a parade, crafts, and more! The weekend after that we have Hillbilly Olimpix. It’s a fun-filled weekend where you can showcase your skills against some of the best hillbillies around! The third weekend in July we have Water Warz II so make sure you wear yellow if you don’t want to get wet! The fourth weekend we will have Christmas in July where we will have our annual Lock-in for the kids. There will be a cost of $5/ kid this year as well as a sign-up sheet. The last weekend in July is Bigfoot weekend. Will you be the first one to find him? We can’t wait to see y’all out here and have some fun!

As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.

February has made her presence known with cold winds, snow flurries creeping in, and the trees have finally dropped all their leaves.
I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.

Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
