August is here y’all!

Time is flying by, and this summer has been hot and steamy but that sure hasn’t slowed us down. We have some improvements to tell you about. Our front walkway at the Club House was damaged, and the replacement looks amazing! Our gate was also damaged and a new one is scheduled to be put in very soon.

We are super excited about the renovation happening as we speak at the Country Laundry. The inside is ready for brand new washers and dryers (just waiting on supply chain to catch up). They will be credit card so no more buying quarters! We are making sure the internet signal is strong so you can get those duds cleaned lickity split. We have added air conditioning, so you stay nice and cool. The new windows allow you to enjoy the view and the décor is rustic and beautiful. Outside we’ve updated both entrances and the exterior and new sign are awesome. They will be happening this month. We also put a porch swing outside so you can relax and read while you are waiting for your clothes if you choose.

Our cabin L-13 is getting the roof repaired and we are anxious to get to the inside, but patience is the key these days. The much-anticipated paintball new location is underway. The horses are even more excited because they’ve been drooling over that piece of ground for years!

We of course are always thankful for you and it’s a pleasure hearing your stories of how much fun you’re having, and your encouragement is much appreciated. I’ve always said how blessed this ranch is to have such amazing folks working hard to make it better. This year is no exception, and we are working hard to continue to make Rocky Fork Ranch a place you love to spend time making memories!

RFR 2023 Hillbilly Weekend

A message from our amazing recreation director!

The summer is just flying by! July kept us busy for sure. Each weekend was filled with good times! Independence weekend was filled with activities and, of course, a parade! Everyone was able to show their true colors on Hillbilly Weekend and Water Warz was an absolute blast this year! Thank you everyone who participated. The Naughty and Nice weekend was a great time with our White Elephant Gift Exchange and then listening to the band Generation Gap.

Our final month of the summer is here, and we have a ton planned! To kick off August, our first weekend is Watermelon Crawl weekend! You can check the CampersApp and Facebook for more information about the Watermelon Crawl. The rest of August includes Hoe Down weekend, Fundraising is Fun weekend, and then the Dog Daze of Summer weekend (get your pups ready!). We hope to see you soon – let’s make some wonderful memories here at Rocky Fork Ranch!
