Winter is upon us here at Gettysburg Battlefield Resorts in South Central Pennsylvania!
Hey Y’all!
Our summer season is flying by! August is already here! It seems like we were just preparing for Memorial weekend. With that being said, we had a blast in July from celebrating our Independence to Water Warz, making some great memories along the way. We also had a beautiful colt born in July! His name is Bandit. Millie is doing a great job of taking care of her colt and he is quite energetic and full of vitality!
August is the time of year when we take advantage of each day as summer days are on the final stretch. Get familiar with our CampersApp so you can stay tuned to all that is happening when you are here. Be sure to unplug, rese, & enjoy all the beautiful nature around you. Simeon has given us a snapshot of what August entails here at the ranch below. Make your plans to come stay with us. We hope you find when you are here life is just a little more relaxing and fun is always present.

We have a lot of fun activities planned for August!
Right off the bat we have our Watermelon Crawl Weekend. We will have our annual camper crawl, which is a 21 and over event. The following weekend is our Rockin’ Rocky Fork: Prime Country Weekend where we will dance the night away to some classic country tunes. The third weekend in August is our Fundraising weekend. This year we are supporting the Cancer Research Institute. We have some awesome entertainment coming that you won’t want to miss. The final weekend is All About the Pup. Bring your doggo for some fun dog-related activities. It will be fun for you and them! We look forward to seeing y’all in this last month of Summer!

As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.

February has made her presence known with cold winds, snow flurries creeping in, and the trees have finally dropped all their leaves.
I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.

Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
