Even though the camping season has come and gone we are still busy here at the resort. Learn more about the resort in the February Newsletter!

The sun is shining and we are finally in the 90 degree weather. This is the best time to be at the lake. Boats are out, the pools are open, and activities are more fun than ever. This month we are starting strong with our Family Fun weekend, then our Big Luau weekend, a lake favorite with Father’s Day weekend, and last we have another Fundraising weekend for Circle of Love. Last months fundraiser went better than we expected! We were able to raise almost $1,000 to give to KOA Care Camps, an organization that send kids with cancer to camp. Come down to the lake to make new memories and new friends.
We have a few new faces here working at the park, be sure to introduce yourself and give our new family members a warm welcome!
This month we are hoping to get some of our bigger issues fixed, starting with some water leaks. Be sure to download campersAPP in order to stay in the loop when water may be shutting off during certain times and in certain areas of the park. We also want to start working on more landscape focused projects, one of which includes getting read for our 2022 Member Build (which is not until August)! Keep our eyes and ears pealed for what is to come in just a few short months!

As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.

Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
