Winter is upon us here at Gettysburg Battlefield Resorts in South Central Pennsylvania!
Ghostly Greetings,
It’s finally October! The season may have slowed down, but the fun never does.
This month, we are remodeling our bathhouse by the laundry room, as well as starting to spruce up our laundry facility with new doors. We have also been working on pruning our flower beds before winter so we can have a fresh slate in the spring. You may notice some work happening outside of our nature center as we get ready to welcome our newest addition. Can you guess what it is? I will give you a hint, they can’t wait to start doing morning yoga with Ki!
One of our biggest projects this month will be getting our Haunted Trail ready for Halloween!! First up for our weekend themes this month will be Arts & Crafts weekend, get ready to get messy! Followed by Pumpkin Patch Weekend, join us for a weekend full of everything pumpkin! Next is Oktoberfest, where we will be having a party in the Clubhouse. Monster Mash (Halloweekend #1) with our trail, dance party, costume contest, and site contest. Haunting at the Lake (Halloweekend #2) with a DJ, trunk or treat, and everything else from the weekend before! Come enjoy the fun at the Lake!

As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.
I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.

Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
