Pymatuning Adventure Resort, February Newsletter
February has made her presence known with cold winds, snow flurries creeping in, and the trees have finally dropped all their leaves.
Welcome February!!!!
We’ve had a delightful time during January, and things are busy now that February has arrived. You can be assured that the weather here at LSR is warmer than most of the United States right now. The store is open daily from 9am-5pm, and from 9am-8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. If you will be arriving to camp at LSR after hours, please call us and let us know so we can be prepared for your arrival. Parking in the dark is very hard, especially for some of the larger rigs.
Clarence and Lewis completed upgrades on 2 campsites. Campsite 31 and Campsite 33 were refurbished and now can hold rigs that are up to 40 feet long. They are and spacious sites now equipped with 30-amp generators and concrete patios. We have been staining decks and making sure that the leaves are cleared away each morning. Al and Vincent have been busy keeping the grounds groomed and are continuously cutting tree limbs and palm fronds.
Our Housekeepers, Kelly and Dee, are busy keeping the Retro Row and our park model cleaned, as well as the bathrooms on a daily basis. If you ever see them at the resort, please be sure to thank them for the job they do. The clubhouse and bathrooms are spotless all the time, and they take a lot of pride in their jobs.
Dusty, Ann, Gary, and Ken are running the store and making sure that campers find their way to their campsites. Ken and Gary provide security for the resort as well. Dusty has some new store items that you’ll want to look at, and you can visit Ann to catch up about everything that’s happening here at LSR.
During January, Phyllis and her helper, Judy, organized some fun activities for everyone here at LSR. We started our Saturday morning breakfasts again. Thursday mornings are Doggie Socials at the dog park, and Friday nights are Movie Night on the deck. We’ll celebrate all things Red on Feb 10th, Valentine’s Day dinner with your sweetie on Feb 14th, Daytona Speed week, and a Luau is planned on the last weekend of February. Come on out and have some fun in the warm weather. If you need details about any activities, make sure to log onto campersAPP, or e-mail us at lsrrecreation@travelresorts.com.
Travel safe, and we’ll be seeing you soon!

Winter is upon us here at Gettysburg Battlefield Resorts in South Central Pennsylvania!
As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.
Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
