Thousand Palms Resort is located 89 miles west of Luna Sands Resort in Sumpter County. Whether you enjoy air boat rides through the Florida wetlands, viewing world class wildlife, horseback riding, boating, fishing for largemouth bass, ziplining, Busch Gardens in nearby Tampa, Orlando attractions such as Disney and Universal Studios, attending a pro sporting event such as The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Renting an ATV, eating deep Florida cuisine, getting a massage, or just hanging at the resort pool, Thousand Palms will meet all your vacation needs.
Thousand Palm already has 96 seasonal sites and the ability to expand an additional 80 membership sites on the adjacent 20 undeveloped acres. This allows TRA the time to create and make available more Florida member sites than ever before.
