Howdy Everyone!

What a beautiful fall it has been in NY, the trees are so full of color this year. Both of our Halloween weekends went great!! So many awesome costumes, from dancing the night away at the adult party to trick or treating and the hayride at night. It was so much fun. The end of the year video turned out great, I am not going to lie I cried a little, it is so hard to say good-bye to everyone. I just can’t believe it is November already. I want to thank you all for everything you do! We all come to work each day because of you, our members. You are all great and we could not do what we do without you!

It has cooled down here and is now our slow season. All of our seasonal staff is now gone for the winter. We are down to a limited staff that stays with us all year round. Our assistant Manager, Erica has left to head to Florida, she will be working at one of our new parks Thousand Palms for the winter and then plans to return to Bass Lake in April. Yay!! She did an amazing job this year and brought a lot of excitement and new ideas to the park, we wish her a safe adventure and are so happy she will be returning to Bass Lake in the spring!

All of our rental units are now closed for the winter except for the 3 cedar lodges which will remain open all year. The boats are put away, the pools are closed, café and store are closed. The water to the campsites is now off until spring. If you are coming out to camp, we do have locations to fill your tank before you set up on the site, please coordinate your arrival with the greeting station at (315) 728-9437. Someone will be at there to answer your call daily from 8am-4pm. The lower bathhouse will remain open 24 hours and both clubhouses will be open daily. If you are planning to put your camper in storage or take it out, please do so as soon as possible. After we start getting snow, it will be too muddy, and you will not be able to get in or out until spring. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Also, If you have any suggestions or ideas for next year, we would love to hear from you, you can email me at hpowis@travelresorts.com. We want to do want you all want and would love to try some new things for next year. Phyllis has already been working on the highlights and has the bands almost all booked! We hope you all had a wonderful summer! Have a safe and happy fall and we will look forward to seeing you in the spring!

Your Resort Manager,
Heather Powis
