Hello again!

This winter has been so weird, with not a lot of snow and warmer temperatures than normal for January and most of February. Hoping that we will have a warm summer as well. I can’t believe It is March already, that means spring is just around the corner. We are all getting prepared for a great year ahead.

A lot of our activities are planned, but again if you have any ideas, we would love to hear from you. We are always open to new suggestions. The one and only Phyllis our activity director plans to return in mid-April. She is feeling much better, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us this year!

We are happy to announce that Erica our assistant manager will be back with us again for another year! She was such a great help last year and has so many ideas and positive energy to share. She has been managing our new Florida Resort Thousand Palms all winter and doing a great job, but she is returning here for the summer because of all of you and the love you have shown her. We are blessed to have her on the BLR management team for another season.

Also, the news you have all been waiting for…Yes, Debbie and the crew will be back at the café again this year! We are so excited to have her back with all the faces you know and love and great food and drinks! We will be posting the new menu soon.

If you are looking to make reservations for May, here are some things to remember. We are planning to turn the water on May 1st, weather permitting. The store, café and activities will all open on Friday May 5th. We are starting May off with a bang this year with Spring Cleanup weekend from May 5 – 7, Mother’s Day weekend is May 12 – 14 with our annual pancake breakfast, then we are having a Mexican Fiesta May 19 – 21. May will end with Memorial Weekend, we have some new things planned for you.

We are excited to get things rolling, the camping season just can’t come soon enough. All reservations must be made online or through Member Services at (855) 332-9541. If you are in the park or have questions regarding a reservation you already have or any questions regarding the Resort someone is here every day from 8am – 4pm to answer your call. You can call the greeting station at (315) 728-9437. Marlo & Nikki would love to say hello, it gets kind of quiet here this time of year. I wish you all a happy and safe March and will update you again soon.
