Pymatuning Adventure Resort, February Newsletter
February has made her presence known with cold winds, snow flurries creeping in, and the trees have finally dropped all their leaves.
Hello, everyone!
Well, winter decided it wanted to come in with a bang in January. We got 2 feet of snow on the 10th, and then the snow just kept coming, along with the freezing cold temperatures setting in. I hope you are all staying warm and doing well!
We are still chugging away at winter projects. The Office and Store both received fresh coats of paint. Carl and Dan put a new floor in the walk-in cooler in the Store, which turned out great! Now, they are working on replacing the outside wall and upgrading the heat at the greeting station. We are hoping to get the sewer project and cabin renovations started soon. If you didn’t hear, Dan Hamilton was picked for TRA employee of the month for January. So, if you see Dan, please join us in congratulating him. Now that we have snow, he is busy keeping the roads plowed and everything cleaned out.
I want to say a very special “Thank You” to our BLR members, Anne & Harry Mills. They have donated a brand-new foosball table and ping-pong table, with balls and paddles, for the kids of Bass Lake Resort. I can’t thank them enough for their generosity. They have been delivered and will be set up in the upper clubhouse for all to enjoy. Please help us take care of them, so that the kids can have enjoy these gifts for years to come.
The Activity highlights for 2022 are ready and have been posted on CampersApp and Facebook! If you have not downloaded CampersApp yet, be sure that you do, so you can get the most up to date information, activities, hours, and alerts for BLR. Also, check out the new “Shows” tab for a list of all the entertainment we have scheduled for this year. Our first weekend of the season will be Mother’s Day, so make plans with your mother and to come and spend it here with us! Spring is just around the corner and will be here before we know it. I hope you all have a wonderful February and Happy Valentine’s Day, and I will talk to you all soon!

Winter is upon us here at Gettysburg Battlefield Resorts in South Central Pennsylvania!
As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.
Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
