Winter is upon us here at Gettysburg Battlefield Resorts in South Central Pennsylvania!
Hello again everyone!
July has been such a fun, busy month. The time has flown right by, and the weather has been beautiful, even with higher than normal temperatures. Erica and I are having so much fun hanging out with you all.
The end of June, we had Safari Weekend, and G&G animals was here with some animals and they did a show for us! We also did our annual Member Build project. This year we made sitting areas with firepits down by the lake. Thank you to all who came out and gave us a hand. They turned out great and hopefully will be used for years to come. The first weekend of July was Red, White & Blue. We did some Tie-Dye, cornhole, horseshoes, a golf cart obstacle course. and parade. Then on to character weekend, with a Paint & Sip with Erica and slip-n- slide on the hill with the whole activities team. Wild West Water wars was so fun! We had tug of war with a pool of Jell-o, a bucking bronco, and shoot outs all day. Who else got wet besides me? Finally, we ended the weekend with one of favorite bands: Thunder Canyon.
We did some new landscaping on the entrance road as you come in. Coming up in August we have Hippy Fest the first weekend, Magic & Magicians from the 12th-14th, then Super Hero Weekend, and we will end the month with Wet & Wild Weekend. Make sure you download CampersApp, if you haven’t already, for the most up to date activities and information. We have so many new activities planned, hope you all will come out and join us. We are starting to plan for Halloween, we will be having 2 weekends again this year, Sept. 30th-October 1st and October 7th-9th. There are some sites blocked out along the trail for people that would like to help decorate. Please let us know if you would like to be involved, we are always looking for help for Halloween.

As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.

February has made her presence known with cold winds, snow flurries creeping in, and the trees have finally dropped all their leaves.
I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.

Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
