Memorial Garden BLR June 2023

Hello everyone! What a wonderful start to our season here at Bass Lake. May just flew right by. Mother’s day and Fiesta weekends were as fun as usual. The pancake breakfast was a hit again this year, and we all made some memories with mom. We had the most beautiful weather for Memorial weekend, we could not have asked for better weather. Everyone was out having a great time. The craft and vendor show went great this year, we are hoping to maybe do another one in the fall. Thanks to those that participated. Special thank you to those that helped build our memorial garden, what a great addition to our park. It turned out beautiful and helps us all to remember those that are no longer with us and what the holiday is truly about.

Erica is back!! She is going to help us out again this year as our assistant manager. So thankful to have her back with us for another summer. Make sure you watch face book for all the fun videos again this year. All of our seasonal team is back as well, and we are ready to go.

We have some new rocking chairs now down by the lower clubhouse and new furniture in the adult lounge. This month we will be working on getting the upper clubhouse painted, cabin decks pressure washed and stained, and trees trimmed. We also have a plan to tackle the mini golf course and playground, as they need a little bit of love. The upper pool is now open! It will be open 10am-5pm Mon.-Thurs. and 10am-8pm Fri, Sat. & Sun. until June 15th and then we will change the hours to 10am-8pm every day. The lower pool is getting a new pump and some deck repair, and we are hoping to have it open by Father’s day. The store sale went well, we were able to clean out some of last year’s clothing to make room for all the new. Many new items will be added in the store this month, make sure you come and check them out!

We would like to remind you all of a very important guideline that is not being followed. We all try very hard to make sure Bass Lake is a safe enjoyable place for all. Please help us by watching your own children. We are not babysitters and can’t be everywhere at once. We want to get new items and activities for all to enjoy but can’t do that when we have to replace items that have been destroyed. We have always had a TRA guideline that says all children under 18 must be at their campsite or with a parent or guardian after 11pm. This is important for their safety and for the enjoyment of others. We do our best to enforce this rule but please help us by making sure your children are with you by 11pm. Thank you!

So many things planned in June, we just can’t wait!! We have All about the Animals coming up June 2nd-4th with G&G Animals bringing out some pals for us to learn about and meet. June 9th -11th is Hillbilly Weekend. Make sure you bring your best hillbilly costume and join us for hillbilly bowling. June 16th -18th is all about Dad! We will be having our annual fishing derby down by the lake and don’t forget about the pizza party. We will end June off with Pirate Weekend from the 23rd-25th, what an adventure that will be. Saturday July 8th is the date for our annual member build. Make sure you download CampersApp to get the most up to date information and activities. All of our themed weekends and bands have been posted on there for the season so that you can make your plans to come camping. We are looking forward to seeing you all out enjoying the Resort, it is going to be such a great year!

Your Resort Manager,

Heather Powis
