“The best is yet to come.” – Frank Sinatra

As the smooth vocals of Frank Sinatra play in the background, I had the craziest thought – Mr. Sinatra, had he not been such a fantastic singer, would have fit right into the TRA family. While December 31st may be a time for reflection of the year past, January 1st is a day of looking forward to a new year of positive intention. Here at GBR, and across all our resorts, our intention, our purpose, our drive lies in making sure every day, every stay, every year is better than your last “best time ever.” So how does Mr. Sinatra’s soulful rendition of “the best is yet to come” apply to us? For Activities, it translates to we are always looking for ways to improve our game! It means planning new and exciting weekend themes, as well as bring back some of your much-loved favorites. It means looking at better ways to provide services, like our “campground concierge” program. It means bringing in new and exciting experiences for all our members: children, teens, adults, and families. It means bringing in new food trucks, new entertainment, new crafts, new games, and new entertainment, as well as finding new ways to improve your favorites. It also means finding new ways to make sure we are getting it right, and when we aren’t, not giving up until we make it so!

Stating our intention to improve service both continually and consistently to all our members is just the first step. The next step is how. At GBR, the sunroom is getting a much-needed facelift to make it a more welcoming space for all. We are also expanding our most valued resource – our team members! Look for some new faces this season to compliment all our returning staff! In Activities, new food trucks will be coming this year and your favorite ones will be returning. We have booked some new and exciting entertainment – there is a rumor Elvis himself will even be making an appearance! The GBR Amazing Race, one of our most talked-about weekend activity from last season is returning! And, per your many requests, we are bringing back our Paranormal Investigation Weekend. There will also be cornhole tournaments every weekend, another popular request from our members. Our first official weekend of Activities is Easter weekend, and we cannot wait to see what the Easter Bunny is bringing for you all! We heard something about an adults-only easter egg hunt? 2023 is going to be EPIC!
