Happy December!

Well November has been a quieter month at Bass Lake. No planned activities going on but such a beautiful and peaceful time of the year. It started out with above average temperatures with highs around 75 degrees. Many die-hard campers were here trying to get in as much last minute fun as possible and then it ended with an earlier than normal snow storm! We got about 3 ½ feet of snow in 3 days just before Thanksgiving. Thankfully, everything was closed up and put away and we had our shovels and salt buckets out, so we ready for it. The guys worked hard to get the roads cleaned up, decks shoveled off and snow removed from roofs as quickly as possible. We are grateful to have such a great maintenance staff. The snow is so pretty on the trees and fields. I think winter is here to stay for a little while.

We do have the 3 cedar lodge cabins open all year! They have heat and all the comforts of home plus amazing views of the lake. If you would like to make a reservation for a cabin, let us know. Just a reminder that now that we do have snow, it is hard to accommodate you on a campsite as we are unable to plow the sites. Also, if your camper is in storage, you will not be able to get it out now until spring after the ground is hardened. We are unable to plow storage and we would not want you to get stuck out there. We have limited staff on the Resort this time of year, but someone is here every day between 9am-4pm to answer your call. You can reach us at (315) 728-9437.

If you would like to send us an email, you can do that anytime as well at blrreservations@travelresorts.com for questions regarding reservations or check in information, or my email is hpowis@travelresorts.com if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, I would love to hear from you.

We hope you all had a wonderful fall and Happy Thanksgiving with family and friends. There is so much to be thankful for! If you are traveling south for the winter, travel safe. If you are stuck here in the snow with us, stay warm and well and we will talk to you all soon.

Your Resort Manager,
Heather Powis
