Howdy Everyone,
We are so excited to see you all back enjoying the Resort again! May was a great month, the weather was beautiful, and we started out with a boom for Mother’s Day weekend. The annual pancake breakfast was great, 112 people came to enjoy breakfast with us. All the moms received free breakfast and a carnation. The photo-op was a hit! Big thank you to Erica for putting it together. The teen party was so much fun, we were so happy to meet you all and look forward to more teen events. Thank you for the great ideas. Fiesta weekend started off with S’mores by the fire, a chili cook-off, pinata for the kids, and some dancing. We ended the day with our first band of the season, the Cobble Rockers. Thank you to the members that entered, they were all so good I couldn’t choose!
A big shout out to our grounds crew for working so hard to get the Resort looking beautiful in a short amount of time. The mulch is done, Kathy has been busy getting everything weeded and the flowers planted. Joel has been working extra hours to get everything mowed. Eugene and, our newest employee, Ben were such a huge help and a special thank you to one of our members Karen Whedon for the word art in the flower beds. It looks wonderful!
Some things we have been working on this month are getting the upper pool ready to open, giving park model #201 a new look, and replacing and painting the walls on the outside of the greeting station. The HVAC system at the Café has been replaced. The Housekeeping crew worked hard to get all the rentals clean and ready for the season. We added some new lighting at the patio and started redoing the patio tables, can’t wait to get them all finished. They are going to look amazing.
Coming up in June we have Redneck Weekend from the 3rd-5th, Calling all Chocolate Lovers from the 10th-12th, Father’s Day Weekend with our annual Fishing Derby and pizza picnic the 17th-19th, and Safari Weekend from the 24th-26th. Also, on Saturday June 25th, will be doing our annual Member Build. Anyone that would like to join us for the Member Build is welcome. We work together from 9am-1pm to build something new for the Resort, lunch will be provided. It is always a great time! This year we will be setting up chairs and fire pits overlooking the lake for all to enjoy. If you are interested in helping just show up down by the lake the morning of the event.
We are going to have a great time in June, you are not going to want to miss it! Hope to see you all soon.

I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.
I just want to say thank you all for a great season! I am very excited to take on this new role as your Resort Manager.
Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
