Hello Campers!
Last month was fun with those yummy breakfast pancakes and the Valentine’s Day dinner! Bob even showed us how to build a heart creation. Awesome job, Bob! But now, winter is over people. That’s right! Winter is over and Spring is finally here! The weather is warming up quickly for those beautiful spring days and you know what that means? It’s time to start planning a camping trip to your favorite place, here! At Sycamore Lodge!
This month is kicking off with activities on the weekend. We will start March off with a St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Show us your green on the resort and in the parade. How green can you be! The next weekend, we will be hosting our Chili Cook-Off Weekend, seeing whose chili is the best of the best! Do you prefer a spicy or savory chili? Beans? Noodles? If last year’s Cook-Off is any indication, we will have different types and varieties of chili for you to try! Finally, at the end of the month, we are all chipping in to clean up Sycamore Lodge with the Spring Cleanup Weekend. Also, don’t forget to check out the band schedule for next month, beginning with our Saturday music at the Pavilion. Please make sure if you are taking firewood after hours to come up and pay at the store or leave exact cash in the box.
The resort is looking great, the maintenance and ground crew are always making sure the resort is clean, fresh, and ready for your arrival. All our staff is super excited to see everyone as the season begins.

Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.

I just want to say thank you all for a great season! I am very excited to take on this new role as your Resort Manager.
February has made her presence known with cold winds, snow flurries creeping in, and the trees have finally dropped all their leaves.
I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.
