Hey Y’all!
It’s beginning to feel like Spring here as the temperatures are starting to rise, the flowers are beginning to bloom, and the campers are starting to rush back to camp as soon as the season starts. We had a beautiful and cold winter here but have still managed to see lots of friendly faces within the past few months. The fish are making their appearance as everyone starts to bait their hooks. Soon enough, Activities will be starting and then we will be in full swing! Don’t forget to mark your calendars and book for your favorite themed weekends.
We have 3 new faces here at the Lake. Mark just started our M.I.T program and has been amazing to have around. Deb is our newest housekeeper and sure knows how to freshen up a room. And lastly, JR has started in the Maintenance Department, joining Ed and Kenny in the many exciting adventures of keeping this place in tip top shape! For those of you who had the pleasure of meeting Ki last season, I am excited to announce that she has been promoted to Activities Director! For those who have not gotten the chance, you might just have to come to the Lake this year to meet this cheerful woman! Until then, here is a little word from her:
“Hi! I’m Kiara, but I go by Ki! I am the Activities Director here at North Shore Landing. I joined the team in August of 2021, and it has been a blast since day one. I have planned for an amazing season this year and I am so excited to see all our wonderful guests this summer. Make sure you download CampersApp so you can see what we have planned for Activities during your stay!”

Goodbye to December and we are giving our thanks to all the members that were with us during the BIG thanksgiving feast.
As the weather gets a little colder each night, we all snuggle one step closer to the campfire. The leaves have almost finished falling and everything looks beautiful. What a perfect season we have here in Georgia.

I just want to say thank you all for a great season! I am very excited to take on this new role as your Resort Manager.
February has made her presence known with cold winds, snow flurries creeping in, and the trees have finally dropped all their leaves.
I see the colours everywhere as I drive around this beautiful place, we call Rocky Fork Ranch.
