Team Member Of The Month
Bob Johnson
Hello, my name is Bob Johnson, and I am currently the Activity Director at Sycamore Lodge. I joined TRA as a member in 2006 and went to work here at Sycamore Lodge in 2011 as a Host. I do several jobs here at Sycamore Lodge, such as a Host, Maintenance, Pool Guy, and anything else that needs to be done. I finally took over the job of Activity Director in late 2017. I absolutely love my job and the people I work with. My favorite thing about this job is that I love interacting with all the members and all the staff here every day and, of course, line dancing on Saturday nights. I stay at the campground, and my fondest memory is sitting out around a campfire, roasting hotdogs (with peanut butter), making smores, singing, and having a great time with several members from all over the United States that have become close friends here at Sycamore Lodge.
My favorite quote is:

My favorite movie is “Forest Gump”, because it shows that no matter who you are physically, mentally, socially, or your abilities that you can do whatever you put your mind to do.

Member Of The Month
Tammy Karstetter
Congratulations to the Member of the Month, Tammy Karstetter! Tammy and her husband have been members with us since 2016. They have stayed at our Gettysburg Battlefield Resort. Gettysburg is their favorite resort because it is their home resort. They love staying there when they come into town. They enjoy the pool and the pond, and their favorite memory camping with TRA was staying in the cabins, playing with our full band, the Juice, at the resort. They are planning to come again on August 27th this year!!! They normally camp in a cabin, usually making their favorite meal, steak on the Grille! They found the Lodge beautiful, telling us if their kids or grandkids are there, that they would enjoy the playground outside and the playroom in the Lodge.

Congratulations to our Contest Winner Catherine Williams! Catherine loves how much there is to do at our TRA Campgrounds, especially while spending summer here with her grandson. Last summer, they visited Rocky Fork Ranch, and her grandson got to play paintball for the first time! We are so happy that they choose to spend their time together with us here at TRA.
